ACPO Vice-president and Chief Constable of West Yorkshire resigns

I very much welcome his resignation.

This morning the Association of Chief Police Officers had three vice-presidents, two of whom I believed to be dishonest Police officers.

Those vice-presidents whom I believed to be dishonest were Sir Norman Bettison and Sara Thornton.

One has gone. One, inappropriately in my view, remains in post.

For how much longer I wonder.
